Vector IQ has no accounts and does not ask for your name or email. This page explains exactly what happens to your data.
Your answers are not stored
When you finish a test, your answers are sent to our server, scored in memory and the result is sent straight back. We do not write your answers or your result to a database, and we do not keep them afterwards.
What stays in your browser
- Recently seen question ids (localStorage). We keep a short list of the ids of questions you were recently shown, for example
R012, so a retake can prefer questions you have not seen. It holds ids only: no answers, no results and nothing that identifies you. It stays in this browser until you clear site data. - Test in progress (sessionStorage). While a test is open, your current answers and position are kept in this tab so a refresh does not lose your place. Closing the tab clears them, and they are removed when you finish or exit the test. Answers are never put in localStorage.
What our servers see
Like any website, our hosting provider handles your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages. We use your IP address in memory to limit how many requests one visitor can make per minute, which protects the site from abuse. We do not use advertising trackers, and this site does not set cookies of its own. Server logs may record errors, but not your answers.
Your choices
You can clear the seen-question list at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Nothing else is stored, so there is no account or answer history to delete.
